Virginia has just written and illustrated a children's picture book called "The Flying Phlox". The book is for sale in either paperback or hardcover versions through this site. Follow the storybooks link.
Virginia offers programs with the book that are wonderful for schools, libraries and other organisations.

There are a few days left to check out Virginia's art at Gallery on the Green in Canton. The exhibit is with the Women Artists Collective and a percentage of the proceeds will be donated to Women 4 Women International.

ATTENTION HOMESCHOOLERS!
Virginia is offering art classes for homeschoolers in West Hartford Center. She is currerntly running a 10 week class on Thursday mornings from 11:00-12:00 and will be continuing with a new spring series beginning in April.
Children ages 7-12 are welcome. Class cost is $10 per child + $10 materials fee for the series of classes. There is a limit of 10 children per session. Parents are welcome to stay to observe, or drop off.

Virginia is offering two additional time slots on Thursdays for the Spring series. Classes will be held on Thursday 9:30 - 10:30 am, 1:30 - 2:30pm.
This is an 8 week series with one free make up class.
April 8th - June 17th. (no classes on April 22, May 6, June 10th.
Make up class is June 17th.
