Recently she has expanded into the world of writing and illustrating children's picture books and has been working with children with disabilities through Young Audiences Arts for Learning of Connecticut, an affiliate of VSA Arts.
Her work as an artist began over 30 years ago and continues to expand and grow through various exhibitions, commissions and art residencies. Virginia often works with her husband, Craig providing therapeutic music and art programs. They have a business together called Playtivity where they provide participatory music based programs and community art programs for children and adults. She often incorporates her work as a healer through her expressive arts residencies, recognizing the value of therapeutic art to heal through play.
Her work as a healer is focused mostly in the CranioSacral Therapy work, however Virginia has been trained in a wide range of healing modalities including, Shamanic Healing and Traditional Mayan Healing. She blends her talents to provide highly effective therapy sessions that are aligned with the belief that the body has its own innate intelligence and ability to heal itself. Virginia helps facilitate this healing process with gentle, non-invasive techniques that bring the body, mind and spirit into balance and harmony. Her spiritual counseling helps many people move beyond illusion into the truth of their own divinity.
As an ordained minister of peace through the Beloved Community, Virginia offers union, civil and wedding ceremonies . Her talent is in being able to intimately connect with your intentions for your ceremony and assist you in creating a unique and memorable event.
